When you install WooCommerce from WooThemes, you gain a great deal of functionality to your WordPress site. You also gain an annoying little advertisement for the WooThemes “Updater Plugin,” which shows up on the top of every page of the admin dashboard:
Install the WooThemes Updater plugin to get updates for your WooThemes plugins.
How dreadful.
I’m really surprised the same company that makes such wonderful themes and plugins, and contributes to the WordPress community so heavily, does this to its users and customers.
Here’s how to remove it. Add the following line of code to your child theme functions.php file:
